Maxity.io, a Web3 social impact protocol and a charity NFT marketplace, has announced that it has partnered with over 100 civil society organisations worldwide to raise funds through its platform using blockchain technology. By selling non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as donations and through implementing its Volunteer and Reward model, Maxity is providing an innovative and engaging way for charities to raise funds and build a sense of community around their cause. Using technology to fundraise in this way is a disruptor to the traditional aid system, shifting the power to grassroots organisations to fundraise independently without a centralised authority or donor involved.
One of the key features of Maxity's platform is its focus on transparency. With blockchain technology, the platform ensures that all transactions are fully traceable, so that donors can see exactly where their funds are going and how they are being used by the charities. Maxity allows charities to design, create and sell their own NFTs, which can be used as rewards or incentives for donors. This level of transparency and the use of NFTs is an opportunity to enhance trust and credibility in the charity sector,
Maxity has set up a few decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs) to help with its operations, namely Charity Dao, Artists Dao, and influencer DAO. Charity Dao is the world's first licensed philanthropy Dao, focusing on helping NGOs with fundraising for emergency causes within 24 hours and aims to build a community that connects worldwide charities with decentralised Web3 technology. By assisting charities and NGOs to design, create, publish, and sell NFTs on Maxity's NFT marketplace, Charity DAO brings a new way to help charities with emergency fundraising and help them to build trust and improve transparency.
Six months since Maxity first went live, it has had over 100 NGOs in 26 countries join the platform, all subjected to a due diligence process before being verified. NFTs have the potential to revolutionise the charity sector, as they can be used as unique rewards or incentives for donors. This helps charities to raise awareness, improve trust, and build communities.
Maxity is now partnering with NGOs across all continents in 26 countries, including USA, UK, Switzerland, China, Colombia, South Africa, Afghanistan, Nepal, Cambodia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Rwanda,, Cameroon, Congo, DRC, Gabon, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Guinea, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, South Sudan and Ghana. The list is expected to expand. The organisations and charities are running many meaningful causes contributing to all 17 UN Global Goals, including youth education, support for disabled groups, humanitarian efforts in conflict zones, , furthering human rights, strengthening gender equality, drug abuse prevention, educating orphans and empowering widows, agriculture, environmental protection, mental health, sports education, rural community support, poverty reduction, kidney disease awareness, wildlife conservation, breast cancer awareness, and fighting human trafficking.

Many CSO partners have been peer-to-peer referred through Maxity's Global Ambassador Program, which aims to recruit 500 ambassadors to help promote Maxity's NFT marketplace and contribute to achieving the UN Global Goals. With over 40 ambassadors worldwide already on board, Maxity is seeking to invite more talents to join the program. Ambassadors enjoy benefits such as free NFT designs, earning Max Coin, and exposure. If you are a founder or co-founder of a non-profit organisation, a philanthropist, or an environmental/humanitarian activist and interested in making a positive impact on the world, please feel free to apply by contacting [email protected]. Although the Web3 industry is currently in a bear market, Maxity is using technology to integrate charity with Web3 through its Volunteer and Reward model and the Symbiotic Metaverse. By doing so, Maxity aims to showcase the potential and vitality of the industry to mainstream society. In December, Maxity launched its DApp-Maxity App, introducing a Plant and Reward model, MAX Forest, to encourage more Web3 users to join voluntary practices and environmental protection programs. Assisting its partnering NGOs, real trees will be planted and public welfare forests in areas affected by severe desertification will be created. Maxity will continue to work with NGOs to contribute to “blockchain for good” and achieve positive social impact.
Maxity appreciates all the work performed by its partnering NGOs to achieve the UN Global Goals. By leveraging the capabilities of Web3 and blockchain technology, Maxity hopes to create a more efficient and transparent charitable ecosystem. Maxity invites all charitable organisations and individuals to join this effort and help to drive positive change in the world!
